Question One: Documentary Film Event

On May 6th, 2009 Maine became the first state in this country to legislatively grant same-sex couples the right to marry.
Seven months later, on November 3rd, 2009 Maine reversed, becoming the thirty-first state in this country to say "no" to gay and lesbian marriage.
Question One is Maine's story.

There will be a reception be prior to the movie with special guest Joe Fox, one of the makers of the documentary.
The reception begins at 5:30 and the movie starts at 7:00.

Wellstone Call to Justice Award!  “Stand for Justice” is about bold Jewish leaders, powerful partnerships across lines of race and faith,
a vibrant Jewish community putting our values into action, and a better future for us all. On June 3, we will be joined by public officials, decision-makers, 
diverse allies and hundreds of community members to work together toward solutions to today’s critical challenges.
